How to start a YouTube channel in Bangladesh
Set the channel up for Bangladeshi search from day one
Open the channel on your own Google account, set Bangladesh as the country in Studio, verify with a Bangladeshi mobile number, and decide between Bangla script and Banglish before the name, because that decides who finds you.
Bangla script or Banglish, decided before the name
Bangladeshis search in both Bangla script and Roman-script Banglish. A Bangla name reaches the domestic audience; a Banglish or English name reaches the diaspora in the Gulf, UK and US. Pick one and let the name reflect it.
Set the channel country to Bangladesh
Studio → Settings → Channel → Basic info → Country of residence. This is what YouTube checks against the availability lists and what AdSense expects the payment address to match.
2-Step Verification and advanced features
Turn on 2-Step Verification on the Google account, then verify the channel with a Bangladeshi mobile number (Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink and Teletalk all receive the code) to get advanced features.
A handle people can type on a phone
Short, Roman script, no numbers. It appears on every Short and in every Facebook and WhatsApp share.
Description in the words viewers search
Write it in Bangla plus the Banglish phrases people type ("YouTube theke income", "BCS preparation"), and name the upload days.
First five videos as one series
Five videos on one promise in one language tell YouTube exactly who to show you to. Mixing waz, cooking and vlogs in week one tells it nothing.
Phone-first equipment
A mid-range phone, a lapel mic and daylight are enough; clear Bangla audio matters more than resolution on capped data.
Upload defaults
Set video language to Bengali, the caption language, and the location. Default to public and schedule for 8–11 pm BST.
Study a channel in your niche with the Channel Analyzer before you pick a name, then draft your first titles with the Video Title Generator. Full setup walkthrough: how to start a YouTube channel.
Best YouTube niche in Bangladesh
Niches that grow and pay for Bangladeshi audiences
The niches growing in Bangladesh in 2026 are admission and job-exam prep, Islamic content, village and family vlogs, cooking, cricket, tech unboxings, freelancing and skills, drama and natok reviews, motovlogs and health. Earning potential is qualitative and depends on how much of the audience is outside Bangladesh.
Admission and job-exam prep
Medium earning potentialBCS, university admission and bank-job prep in Bangla has millions of yearly searchers and few polished channels.
Islamic content (waz, Quran)
Low earning potentialDaily and Ramadan demand, long sessions, strong loyalty.
Village and family vlogs
Low earning potentialRelatable rural life from across the divisions; grows on consistency rather than production.
Cooking
Medium earning potentialBangla recipes rank at home and with the diaspora in the UK, Gulf and US.
Cricket
Medium earning potentialThe national conversation; reactions win in the first hour after a Tigers match.
Tech unboxings
Medium earning potentialPhone launches and price updates pull high-intent viewers; English versions reach the Gulf diaspora.
Freelancing and skills
High earning potentialUpwork, Fiverr and remote-work content in Bangla has high intent and an English-speaking diaspora audience.
Natok and drama reviews
Low earning potentialBangla dramas have a huge domestic and diaspora audience; recaps rank weekly.
Motovlogs and travel
Medium earning potentialBike culture and domestic travel (Cox's Bazar, Sylhet, Sundarbans) have loyal viewers.
Health and remedies
Medium earning potentialSearched constantly; high-intent viewers and pharmacy-brand advertisers.
Earning potential is qualitative (Low / Medium / High) and reflects advertiser demand and audience country, not a figure any channel will earn.
Saturated locally: generic motivation, natok clips reuploaded from broadcasters, celebrity gossip and "online income" channels without a product. Views are cheap to get and worth little, and reused footage is claimed within hours.
Low local competition: subject-specific exam explainers, trade skills (mobile repair, tailoring, electrician work), agriculture and poultry farming guides, small-business bookkeeping in Bangla, and Sylheti- and Chittagonian-dialect content.
Local audience or global audience? English-language content on freelancing, Bangladeshi cooking and travel reaches viewers in the UK, US and Gulf, whose views are paid at far higher rates. Bangla content grows faster inside Bangladesh. Many channels run Bangla audio with English captions to reach both, and the diaspora searches the same cooking and natok titles.

How to get views and subscribers in Bangladesh
Grow from Bangladeshi audiences
Bangladeshi viewers search in Bangla and Banglish, watch on mobile between 8 and 11 pm BST, and share through Facebook, so Bangla titles with Banglish keywords, large Bangla thumbnail text and Ramadan, Eid and cricket timing do most of the work.
Titles and keywords in the words Bangladeshi viewers type
Bangladeshis type search queries in both Bangla script and Roman-script Banglish, so a Bangla channel benefits from a Banglish keyword in the title. Put the query first, keep titles under 60 characters so they survive a Facebook preview, and let the thumbnail carry the Bangla script.
YouTube Theke Income 2026 — Monetization Shorto Ki Ki?

ইউটিউব মনিটাইজেশন ২০২৬: কত সাবস্ক্রাইবার লাগে?

BCS Preliminary 2026: Bangla 30 MCQ Solved
Exam, year, subject and a countable promise.
Bangladesh vs India Reaction — Mirpur Er Mood
Match for search, venue and emotion for the click; publish within an hour of the result.
Best Phone Under 20,000 Taka (October 2026)
Budget phrase in Taka, month and a ranking promise.
Fiverr E Prothom Order Kivabe Pelam — Beginner Guide
A question people ask in Banglish, answered as a story.
Paste a topic into the YouTube Keyword Generator to see the exact phrases searched from Bangladesh, then write the title with the Video Title Generator.
Thumbnails that work for Bangladeshi viewers
Large Bangla text (two or three words) in a bold font, faces with a clear expression, and high contrast that survives a cheap screen in sunlight. Bangla on the thumbnail with Banglish in the title is the combination that works; tiny screenshots and four lines of text fail.
Make the thumbnail in the Thumbnail Maker and run it through the Thumbnail Analyzer, which scores your thumbnail before you upload so you can compare two versions side by side.
Posting time in Bangladesh Standard Time (BST)
Bangladeshi viewing peaks from 8 to 11 pm BST, with a second peak after Friday prayers. Gulf viewers are three hours behind and watch at the same local time; UK viewers are five or six hours behind and see a 9 pm BST upload in the afternoon. The Best Time to Post tool reads your own channel's viewer activity by hour and day, which beats any general rule once you have a few weeks of data.
Local trends, festivals and sport
Ekushey February, Pohela Boishakh in April, Ramadan and both Eids, the budget in June, Durga Puja, Victory Day on 16 December, BPL cricket in winter and the admission season are the reliable spikes. Ramadan content prepared a month early ranks before the search peak.
Community posts and comments in the audience's language
Reply in Bangla. Community posts in Bangla get more replies than English announcements; polls about the next recipe or the next exam topic keep viewers between uploads.
Collaborations with Bangladeshi creators at your size
Collaborate with creators at your size in your city and niche. Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet creator groups on Facebook are where cross-appearances start; two 4,000-subscriber Bangla channels swapping appearances each gain a new audience in a way a shout-out from a huge channel does not.
Playlists and end screens
Group videos into playlists named with the search phrase, not a clever title, so the playlist itself ranks. Put the next video in the series on the end screen; a session that continues on your channel is the strongest signal you can send.
What the algorithm actually rewards
YouTube recommends videos that viewers watch for longer, rate as satisfying in surveys, and come back to. It does not reward upload frequency on its own, tags on their own, or keyword stuffing. Read the plain-language breakdown in the YouTube algorithm guide and check each upload with the Video SEO Checker before it goes live.
YouTube Shorts in Bangladesh
Shorts as a monetization lane for Bangladeshi creators
Shorts in Bangladesh count toward full monetization at 10 million qualified Shorts views in 90 days, measured as engaged views; because the fan-funding tier is not offered in Bangladesh, the 3 million-view tier does not apply, and Shorts work mainly as the lane that builds subscribers for long-form.
- 3 million qualified Shorts views in 90 days for the fan-funding tier; 10 million for full monetization.
- Qualified means engaged views: the viewer stays past the first seconds, and loops are not counted.
- Engaged views sit in YouTube Analytics and run below the dashboard view count.
- From 1 February 2027 new applicants for ad revenue need 20 million qualified Shorts views in 90 days.
- 3,000 qualified public watch hours in 12 months for the fan-funding tier; 4,000 for full monetization.
- Public uploads, podcasts and archived live streams count; Shorts watch time does not.
- Hours are checked over a rolling 12 months, so old public videos keep contributing.
- From 1 February 2027 new applicants for ad revenue need 8,000 qualified watch hours in 365 days.
A channel qualifies on whichever lane it fills first. Bangladesh's audience is mobile-first and Facebook-trained, so vertical Bangla Shorts with captions build subscribers fast; without the fan-funding tier the Shorts lane only pays at 10 million engaged views, so long-form remains the path to revenue.
Local Shorts tactics
- Burn Bangla captions into the frame; most Shorts are watched without sound on a bus or in a shop.
- Use trending Bangla and Hindi sounds within the first week; the audio page is a discovery surface.
- Hashtags in Banglish plus one in Bangla script (#bangla #bangladesh #বাংলা) rather than ten generic ones.
- Post Shorts daily during BPL and Ramadan when the feed is hungry for reactions, and point each one at a long-form video in the pinned comment.
- Watch engaged views in Analytics, not the dashboard count; loops and the first seconds do not count toward the 10M threshold.
Shorts RPM is far lower than long-form everywhere (third-party benchmarks put it around 0.03–0.15 USD per 1,000 views), so treat Shorts as the lane that builds subscribers and feeds long-form, not as the main earner. Read how Shorts monetization works for the revenue-share rules.
Write hashtags in your audience's language with the Shorts Tags Generator, pick a title with the Shorts Title Generator, see what is rising in Trending Shorts Ideas and score each Short with the Shorts SEO Checker.
YouTube monetization requirements in Bangladesh
Requirements and the 1 February 2027 change
In Bangladesh you can join the YouTube Partner Program at 1,000 subscribers plus 4,000 qualified watch hours or 10 million qualified Shorts views; the 500-subscriber fan-funding tier is not available in Bangladesh. From 1 February 2027 new applicants for ad revenue need 8,000 hours or 20 million Shorts views.
| Requirement | Fan funding and Shopping (500 subscribers) | Full monetization (1,000 subscribers) |
|---|---|---|
| Subscribers | 500 | 1,000 |
| Long-form path | 3,000 qualified public watch hours in the last 12 months | 4,000 qualified public watch hours in the last 12 months |
| Shorts path | 3 million qualified Shorts views in the last 90 days | 10 million qualified Shorts views in the last 90 days |
| Public uploads | 3 in the last 90 days | Not required |
| Earns from | Memberships, Super Chat, Super Stickers, Super Thanks, Jewels and gifts, Shopping | Everything in the fan-funding tier plus ad revenue and YouTube Premium revenue |
| Both tiers also need | Monetization-policy compliance, YPP availability in the channel's country, no active Community Guidelines strike, 2-Step Verification, advanced features access, one active AdSense for YouTube account | Same |
Thresholds as published on the YouTube Partner Program overview and eligibility and Overview of the expanded YouTube Partner Program pages, checked 22 October 2026. Bangladesh appears on the standard YPP availability list but not on the expanded (500-subscriber) list and not on the Super Chat and Super Stickers list, so the left column of the table does not apply to channels set to Bangladesh.
days until the ad-revenue threshold doubles
Apply before 1 February 2027 and your channel is reviewed on 4,000 hours / 10M Shorts views. After that date new applicants need 8,000 hours / 20M Shorts views. The date that matters is when the application reaches YouTube, not when the reviewer decides; review takes about a month and a rejection means a 30-day wait before reapplying, so December is the last month with room for one retry. Announced by YouTube on 10 August 2026 (YouTube blog). The subscriber count and the 500-subscriber fan-funding tier do not change.
What counts as qualified
Counts
- Public long-form videos, including podcasts
- Live streams archived as public videos
- Public Shorts that generate engaged views (the viewer stays past the first seconds; loops do not count)
- Shorts watch time counts only toward the Shorts path, long-form only toward watch hours
Does not count
- Private, unlisted and deleted videos
- Live streams that are not archived
- Views generated while a video or Short is shown as an ad
- Image posts that appear in the Shorts feed
Source: YouTube blog: qualified watch hours and Shorts views. Setting an old video to private removes its hours the same day.
Apply step by step in YouTube Studio
Check in 30 seconds whether you already meet a tier. Track subscribers, qualified watch hours and engaged Shorts views toward both thresholds in the Channel Analyzer; get the full requirements breakdown in the YouTube monetization guide and the 4,000 watch hours guide.
What shortens the path
Actions that add qualified hours and views, not promises
Nothing on this list promises approval. Each item is an action that adds qualified watch time or engaged Shorts views to your channel, and names the tool that performs it.
Fix the ten lowest-scoring videos first
Run SEO Analysis on your weakest uploads and rewrite titles, descriptions and tags where the score flags gaps. Every extra view on an existing public video adds qualified watch time. Tool: SEO Analysis.
Lengthen average view duration before adding uploads
Open Channel Details, sort by average view duration, and study the videos viewers finish. Make the next video in that shape rather than adding more of what people leave. Tool: Channel Details.
Archive every live stream as a public video
A live stream that is not archived adds nothing. Archived public streams count as long-form watch hours.
Hide old uploads only after approval
Setting a video to private removes its watch hours the same day. Clean up embarrassing early videos once the channel is in the program, not before.
Take the Shorts lane if your audience is phone-first
If most of your viewers watch on mobile, 3 million engaged Shorts views in 90 days can arrive before 3,000 watch hours. Watch engaged views, not the dashboard count. Tool: Shorts SEO Checker.
Read the rejection reasons before you apply
Most 2026 rejections cite inauthentic or mass-produced content, reused content with nothing added, misleading titles or thumbnails, or AdSense problems. Check each one against your channel before submitting. Tool: guide to monetization rejections.
How to get paid by YouTube in Bangladesh
Getting paid in Taka
AdSense for YouTube pays Bangladeshi creators in US dollars by wire transfer to a Bangladeshi bank or by check once the balance reaches 100 USD; the bank receives the dollars as an inward remittance and converts to Taka at its rate.
Payment methods available in Bangladesh
| Method | Currency and arrival | Best for and what to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Wire transfer to a Bangladeshi bank | USD; up to 15 business days after issue (21st–26th) | Almost every Bangladeshi creator. Any BRAC, Dutch-Bangla, City, Eastern, Islami or similar account that accepts inward SWIFT remittances; the bank converts at its rate and may charge an inward fee. Ask for the SWIFT/BIC code and whether the branch needs a remittance purpose declared. |
| Check | USD; 2–4 weeks in the mail, then weeks of bank clearing | Rarely the right choice; foreign checks take a long time to clear in Bangladesh and carry collection charges. Use only if a wire is impossible. |
| EFT, Hyperwallet | Not listed for Bangladesh | Not available for YouTube payments in Bangladesh on the AdSense country table as of October 2026. bKash and Nagad are not AdSense payment methods. |
Methods as listed in the AdSense payment methods by country table for YouTube payments, checked 22 October 2026. Arrival times from Payment timelines for AdSense for YouTube.
Wire transfer is the working route. AdSense sends a SWIFT wire in US dollars; your bank receives it as an inward remittance, may ask you to declare the purpose, and credits Taka at its rate on the day. Confirm with the branch that the account accepts foreign remittances and get the exact beneficiary name and SWIFT/BIC code.
Remittance proof matters. Keep the bank's inward remittance certificate for every AdSense credit. It is the document the NBR and the bank's compliance team ask for, and it is what any government incentive on export or remittance earnings is assessed against under the current circular.
bKash and Nagad. They are not listed as AdSense payment methods. The route is AdSense → bank → then transfer to a mobile wallet yourself if you want to.
Set up AdSense for YouTube payments step by step
- 1
Reach the payment-method selection threshold
AdSense lets you add a payment method once your balance passes a small verification amount; add it well before you expect to cross the payment threshold for your currency.
- 2
Add a wire transfer to a Bangladeshi bank account
In AdSense → Payments → Manage payment methods, choose the method and enter the bank name, the SWIFT/BIC code, the account number, and the account name exactly as the bank prints it. The beneficiary name must match the AdSense payee name exactly.
- 3
Verify your address with the PIN
Google mails a PIN to your Bangladesh postal address once you reach the verification threshold; enter it in AdSense within four months or payments pause.
- 4
Verify your identity
Upload a government-issued ID in the payee's name when AdSense asks; the name on the ID, the AdSense account and the bank account must all match.
- 5
Submit your tax information
Open AdSense → Payments → Manage settings → United States tax info and complete the form the guide selects for you so withholding is applied at the correct rate for your country.
- 6
Watch the monthly timeline
Earnings finalize around the 3rd, payment details lock on the 20th, and payments are issued between the 21st and 26th; track your balance toward the threshold from the Channel Analyzer.
ToolChannel Analyzer
The monthly payment timeline
Common holds and how to clear them
Address verification (PIN)
Google mails a PIN once you reach the verification threshold; enter it in AdSense. If it does not arrive after three requests, use the document-based option.
Identity verification
Upload a government ID that matches the payee name exactly. A mismatch between the AdSense name and the bank account name is the most common wire rejection.
Tax information
Submit the form in AdSense → Payments → Manage settings. Without it, 24% backup withholding applies to worldwide earnings for individuals.
Payment method missing
Add it before the 20th of the month you expect to cross the threshold.
Worked example: a 100 USD payment arriving in Bangladesh
Example only. A 100 USD payment issued on the 24th by wire reaches your Bangladeshi bank within 15 business days. The bank may ask you to declare the remittance purpose, deducts any inward fee, and converts to Taka at its rate on that day, so the Taka figure depends on that day's rate and the bank's spread. Ask for the inward remittance certificate and keep it with the AdSense receipt.

Taxes for YouTube creators in Bangladesh
Tax and legal basics for Bangladeshi creators
YouTube income in Bangladesh is taxable income declared on the annual NBR return with a TIN, remittance records from the bank are the evidence for any export-earnings treatment, and the W-8BEN in AdSense with the Bangladesh–US treaty claim reduces withholding on US-viewer earnings.
How it is classified. AdSense income is income from services, declared on your annual income tax return with the National Board of Revenue. Get a TIN if you do not have one; banks ask for it as inward remittances become regular.
Export and remittance treatment. Bangladesh has had incentives and reduced rates for IT-enabled service exports and inward remittances, with conditions that change with each budget. Whether YouTube income qualifies depends on the current circular and on the money arriving through banking channels with the right purpose code, so confirm the current year with a tax practitioner.
The form inside AdSense. Submit the W-8BEN as a Bangladeshi individual and claim the Bangladesh–US tax treaty; the treaty reduces the rate on earnings from US viewers below the 30% default, and the exact rate is shown in the AdSense tax tool. Earnings from Bangladeshi and other non-US viewers are not withheld. Without any form, 24% of worldwide earnings is withheld.
Record-keeping. Keep every AdSense receipt, inward remittance certificate and bank statement. Together they show the dollar amount, the Taka amount and the date.
The form inside AdSense is the W-8BEN. Fill it before the first payment so withholding matches your treaty position.
Official page: National Board of Revenue. US withholding rules for creators outside the US: U.S. tax requirements for YouTube earnings.

How much YouTube pays in Bangladesh
Realistic earnings for Bangladeshi audiences
Third-party benchmarks put long-form RPM for Bangladeshi audiences at about 0.3–1.2 USD per 1,000 views in October 2026, with Shorts at 0.03–0.15 USD; the same video watched by diaspora viewers in the UK, US or Gulf is paid at those countries' rates.
| Scenario | Long-form | Shorts |
|---|---|---|
| Benchmark RPM per 1,000 views | 0.3–1.2 USD | 0.03–0.15 USD |
| 100,000 views, mostly Bangladeshi audience (illustrative) | about 30–120 USD | about 3–15 USD |
| 100,000 views, mixed audience incl. US/UK (illustrative) | higher, because the US and UK share is paid at 5–12 USD RPM | about 3–15 USD |
Industry estimate, Oct 2026, varies by niche and season. Illustrative rows multiply the benchmark range by views; they are not earnings data from any channel.
RPM is what a creator receives per 1,000 views after YouTube's share; CPM is what advertisers pay. Bangladeshi-audience RPM is low because advertisers bid less for Bangladeshi impressions, not because of anything the creator does. Freelancing, tech and finance content attracts higher-paying ads than vlogs or natok reviews, and a video over eight minutes with mid-roll ads out-earns a short one with the same views.
Audience country matters more than creator country. A creator in Bangladesh whose viewers are mostly in the US, UK, Australia or Canada is paid at those countries' rates, which is why English-language content on freelancing, Bangladeshi cooking and travel tends to show a higher RPM than local-language content with the same view count.
Shorts are paid from a shared pool and typically show 0.03–0.15 USD RPM. Long-form videos over eight minutes can carry mid-roll ads, which is the single biggest lever on long-form RPM.
Compare Bangladesh with other markets in the YouTube RPM by country guide and by topic in YouTube RPM by niche; earn before ad revenue with the ideas in how to make money on YouTube without monetization.
More ways to earn in Bangladesh
Income beyond ad revenue
Because Super Chat, Super Stickers and the fan-funding tier are not offered in Bangladesh, Bangladeshi creators rely more on brand deals, affiliate links, courses and freelancing income than creators elsewhere; keep to what is verified.
Fan funding is limited in Bangladesh
Bangladesh is not on the Super Chat and Super Stickers list and not on the expanded YPP list, so memberships and Super Chat are not available to channels set to Bangladesh as of October 2026. Alternatives: support links through bKash or Nagad shared in the description, and platforms that pay to Bangladeshi banks.
Brand deals with Bangladeshi companies
Telcos, mobile-financial-service apps, phone brands and food companies work with creators. Rates are quoted per video in Taka; a media kit with your Channel Analyzer numbers and audience split by country is what agencies ask for.
Affiliate programs that pay in Taka
Daraz Affiliate and several tech-store programs pay to Bangladeshi bank accounts and mobile wallets with no dollar conversion.
YouTube Shopping
Tag products from your own store or an affiliate program in videos and Shorts. Available with the fan-funding tier where Shopping is offered.
Brand deals
Brands price deals on views and audience country. Keep a one-page media kit with your Channel Analyzer numbers and quote in your local currency plus USD.
Affiliate links
Programs that pay to local bank accounts avoid a second currency conversion. Disclose paid links in the description and in the video.
Digital products and courses
A template, preset, PDF or course sells to a small audience well before ad revenue is meaningful. Sell through a platform that pays out in your currency.

Mistakes that stall channels in Bangladesh
Mistakes that stall Bangladeshi channels
The patterns that stall Bangladeshi channels are reuploaded natok and cricket clips, three languages on one channel, planning around a 500-subscriber tier that is not offered, expecting bKash to be a payment method, and a name mismatch at the bank. Each has a fix.
Reuploading natok episodes or cricket footage
Reused content with nothing added is the most common rejection reason, and broadcasters claim it. Fix: add commentary, reaction or analysis in your own voice, and keep the raw files for review.
Three languages or three niches on one channel
A Bangla recipe, a waz clip and an English tech review teach YouTube nothing about who to recommend you to. Fix: one language and one niche for the first 30 videos.
Planning around the 500-subscriber tier
It is not offered in Bangladesh, so a channel set to Bangladesh cannot use it. Fix: plan for 1,000 subscribers plus 4,000 hours or 10M Shorts views from the start.
Expecting bKash or Nagad to be a payment method
They are not on the AdSense table. Fix: bank wire first, mobile-wallet transfer afterwards.
Name mismatch between AdSense and the bank
A wire to an account title that differs from the AdSense payee name is returned. Fix: payee name identical to the name printed on the bank account.
Ignoring Shorts
Comedy, cricket and cooking channels build subscribers fastest through Shorts even without the 3M tier. Fix: cut every long video into two Shorts with Bangla captions.
Fake views from view-selling sites
Views from ad campaigns and view services do not count as qualified, and the pattern can get the application rejected. Fix: stop, delete nothing, and let real watch time accumulate.
Hiding old videos before approval
Setting early uploads to private removes their watch hours the same day. Fix: leave them public until the channel is accepted.
Applying with an unverified AdSense account
Address PIN and identity checks unresolved means the review stalls. Fix: clear every AdSense notification before you submit the YPP application.

FAQ
YouTube monetization in Bangladesh: your questions
Short answers that stand on their own. Each restates the country and the number so it reads correctly when quoted alone.
How many subscribers do you need to get monetized on YouTube in Bangladesh?
In Bangladesh you need 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 qualified public watch hours in the last 12 months or 10 million qualified Shorts views in the last 90 days. The 500-subscriber fan-funding tier is not available in Bangladesh as of October 2026, so there is no lower entry point for channels set to Bangladesh; plan for the full thresholds from the start.
How do I receive YouTube payment in Bangladesh?
AdSense for YouTube pays creators in Bangladesh in US dollars by wire transfer to a Bangladeshi bank account or by check once the balance reaches 100 USD. Add the wire in AdSense → Payments with your bank's SWIFT code and the account name exactly as printed; the bank receives it as an inward remittance and converts to Taka. bKash and Nagad are not AdSense payment methods.
Can I get my YouTube money in bKash in Bangladesh?
Not directly. As of October 2026 the AdSense table lists wire transfer and check for Bangladesh; mobile wallets are not payment methods. Receive the payment into a bank account that accepts inward SWIFT remittances, then move the Taka to bKash or Nagad yourself. Keep the bank's inward remittance certificate for each credit.
How much does YouTube pay in Bangladesh per 1,000 views?
Third-party benchmarks for October 2026 put long-form RPM for Bangladeshi audiences at about 0.3–1.2 USD per 1,000 views and Shorts at 0.03–0.15 USD, varying by niche and season. Freelancing, tech and finance content sits toward the top of that range, and the same video watched by diaspora viewers in the UK, US or Gulf is paid at those countries' higher rates.
When does YouTube pay in Bangladesh?
AdSense finalizes the previous month's earnings around the 3rd, locks payment details on the 20th, and issues payments between the 21st and 26th if the balance on the 20th is at least 100 USD. A wire transfer to a Bangladeshi bank can then take up to 15 business days, plus any time the bank takes to process the inward remittance; a check takes two to four weeks plus clearing.
Is Super Chat available in Bangladesh?
No. As of October 2026 Bangladesh is not on YouTube's Super Chat and Super Stickers availability list, and it is not on the expanded YouTube Partner Program list that provides the 500-subscriber fan-funding tier with memberships. Channels set to Bangladesh earn from ad revenue and YouTube Premium revenue once they reach the standard thresholds, plus brand deals and affiliate income.
Is YouTube income taxable in Bangladesh?
Yes. YouTube income earned by a creator living in Bangladesh is taxable income declared on the annual NBR return with a TIN, and incentives for IT-enabled service exports or inward remittances depend on the current circular and on the money arriving through banking channels. Google also withholds a treaty-reduced rate on US-viewer earnings after you submit a W-8BEN. This is general information, not tax advice.
What changes for creators in Bangladesh on 1 February 2027?
From 1 February 2027 new applicants for ad revenue anywhere, including Bangladesh, need 1,000 subscribers plus 8,000 qualified watch hours in 365 days or 20 million qualified Shorts views in 90 days, double the current 4,000 hours or 10 million views. Channels already in the program keep their status; applications that reach YouTube before the cutoff are reviewed on the current thresholds.
